A Government Girls Middle School in the Mamh Khel area of Hassan Khel Khaira, Bannu, was damaged in an explosive attack carried out during the night hours, attributed by Khawarij elements.
According to available details, Khawarij operatives targeted the Government Girls Middle School Mamh Khel by using explosive material planted at the premises. The explosion resulted in partial structural damage to the school building. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
The attack took place under the cover of darkness, when the Khawarij reportedly placed and detonated explosive material at the educational facility before fleeing the scene. The extent of the damage is being assessed by the relevant authorities.
Security forces and law enforcement agencies promptly reached the site, cordoned off the area, and initiated a search and clearance operation to trace those involved in the attack and ensure the safety of surrounding areas.
