KABUL: The Afghan Freedom Front (AFF) has claimed that four Taliban fighters were killed and seven others injured in a clash between its fighters and Taliban forces in Afghanistan’s northeastern Badakhshan province.
According to the AFF, the clash took place in Zebak, where its fighters engaged Taliban forces in an armed confrontation, resulting in casualties among the Taliban personnel.
The Afghan Freedom Front claimed that four Taliban personnel were killed and seven others wounded during the fighting.
It further claimed that the injured and dead Taliban personnel were transported to the Zebak district clinic and a hospital in Faizabad following the clash.
The clash comes amid continued armed activity by anti-Taliban groups in parts of Afghanistan, where the Taliban authorities have faced attacks and armed challenges despite maintaining control over most of the country.
