Security forces conducted a targeted operation in the Aphaan Koh area of Prom, district Panjgur, Balochistan, following credible information regarding the presence of Fitna al-Hindustan elements in the area, according to security sources.
Acting on the reported intelligence, security forces launched an operation to locate and neutralize the Fitna al-Hindustan elements present in the area. During the operation, an intense exchange of fire took place between security forces and the Fitna al-Hindustan members.
According to security sources, four Fitna al-Hindustan members were killed during the engagement.
Following the operation, security personnel conducted a detailed search of the area and recovered a substantial quantity of modern weapons, ammunition, and other military equipment from the possession of the deceased Fitna al-Hindustan members.
The recovered material is being examined by the relevant authorities as part of the ongoing assessment of the group’s activities, capabilities, and operational networks in the region.
The operation in Panjgur forms part of continuing security efforts against Fitna al-Hindustan across Balochistan. Security forces remain engaged in intelligence-based operations aimed at locating and dismantling elements involved in armed violence and destabilizing activities.
