Elements affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH) have once again demonstrated their disregard for civilian life, livelihoods, and economic activity by stopping three goods trucks near Charsar, Dalbandin, in an incident that disrupted commercial movement and caused significant concern among local transporters and communities.
According to preliminary information, FAH elements intercepted three goods trucks travelling in the vicinity of Charsar. The attackers subsequently set one of the trucks on fire and forcibly took the remaining two vehicles toward Killi Haji Kuli.
The incident represents a direct attack on civilian economic activity and the livelihoods of transport workers who depend on the safe movement of commercial goods. The targeting of ordinary goods carriers also threatens the wider flow of essential commodities and commercial supplies through the region.
The deliberate targeting of civilian trucks highlights the growing threat posed by FAH elements to local communities and the region’s economic infrastructure. Goods transportation is a vital component of the local economy, providing employment and supporting businesses, markets, traders, drivers, cleaners, mechanics and other workers whose livelihoods depend upon uninterrupted commercial movement.
An attack on these vehicles therefore extends far beyond the immediate material loss. Such incidents can create fear among transporters, increase operational costs, disrupt supply chains and discourage commercial activity in already challenging economic conditions.
The burning of a civilian truck further demonstrates the destructive nature of the incident and the risks faced by transport workers operating along routes in and around Dalbandin.
The incident also underscores a disturbing pattern in which FAH elements, unable to achieve meaningful operational objectives against security forces, increasingly resort to intimidation, looting and attacks against vulnerable civilian targets. Rather than confronting security personnel, the elements involved in the incident targeted unarmed transporters and civilian goods carriers, individuals who pose no threat to them and whose only objective is to earn a livelihood.
Such actions cannot be justified as legitimate political or armed activity. The deliberate targeting of civilian economic activity serves only to spread fear, damage local commerce and undermine the stability and development of the region.
