Another Homecoming in Balochistan as Former BLA Terrorist Nusratullah Renounces Terrorism

Balochistan, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Nusratullah alias Nako, Homecoming in Balochistan, Pakistan

A former terrorist of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Nusratullah alias Nako, has announced his return to the national mainstream in Balochistan, expressing regret over joining the terrorist organization and urging two of his brothers who remain associated with it to follow the same path.

Nusratullah, a resident of Koi Pusht, made the announcement during a press conference alongside his father. He said he had joined the BLA after being influenced and brainwashed by his brother-in-law, identified as Mama Hayat.

He said his perception of the organization changed after he came to understand its activities, prompting him to abandon the path of terrorism and return to the national mainstream.

Expressing deep remorse over his past decision, Nusratullah pledged loyalty to Pakistan and said he would remain faithful to the state in the future. He also appealed to his brothers, Asad Gahram and Miraj Miro, who he said were still associated with the organization, to leave it and return to the national mainstream.

Nusratullah described reintegration into society as the way toward a secure and brighter future, urging those still involved in militant activity to reconsider their choices.

His announcement adds another account to the broader narrative of former separatist fighters renouncing violence and returning to civilian life in Balochistan. Such public declarations also serve as appeals to others within armed groups to abandon militancy and pursue a peaceful future.
