Another Example of Khawarij Hypocrisy: Girls’ School Bombed in Lakki Marwat

The hypocrisy of the Khawarij (a term used for terrorists affiliated with the banned TTP) has once again been exposed. Claiming to be the self-styled protectors of people’s lives, property, and honour, these militants continue to target the very public they pretend to defend, destroying facilities built solely for the ease, welfare, and future of the people.

Less than 24 hours after blowing up a vital bridge in Bannu, the enemies of the nation and its future struck again; this time in Lakki Marwat, by bombing another school, proving both their hostility to education and their duplicity.

According to sources, in the Pahar Khel Pakka area of Ghazni Khel tehsil, militants detonated explosives at a Government Girls Primary School, causing severe damage to the building. Fortunately, as it was a holiday, no casualties were reported in the initial accounts.

It may be recalled that just a day earlier in Jani Khel, Bannu, the Khawarij destroyed a bridge in a failed attempt to target a security forces convoy. The act drew anger and condemnation from local residents, who openly challenged the militants to face them directly if they were truly as “brave” as they claim.

This is not the first such incident. Earlier in the third week of this month, the same group attacked schools and even a hospital in Lakki Marwat, Tank, and Bannu, once again highlighting their duplicity and enmity toward the people. In Baka Khel, Bannu, militants had occupied a school and turned it into a base; in Tank, they bombed a hospital; and in both Tank and Lakki Marwat, schools were deliberately targeted.
