ISLAMABAD: In a sharp response to India’s potential escalation of hostilities, Pakistan has identified hundreds of targets across the border, which would be struck within minutes if India were to launch an attack.
Sources confirm that Pakistan did not initiate the recent tensions, nor is the Pakistani state involved in the Pahalgam incident. Additionally, there is no evidence linking any non-state actors from Pakistan to the attack, sources stated.
Despite this, India has been quick to blame Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack and has been using its media to fuel a campaign of unfounded accusations. Pakistani officials have dismissed these claims as baseless, with some going as far as saying that the allegations are so absurd that even a child would not believe them.
Pakistan has emphasised its commitment to peace but has also made it clear that any hostile action from India will meet with a swift and decisive response. The country has already pre-designated targets and is ready to retaliate in minutes if provoked.
The current situation remains tense, with diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions still ongoing. However, Pakistan’s readiness to defend itself sends a clear message to India that any misadventure will not go unchallenged.
