Islamabad: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has strongly condemned the recent armed attack that claimed the lives of eight Pakistani nationals in Iran’s Sistan and Balochistan province, labelling the incident as inhumane and cowardly.
In an official statement, the Embassy described terrorism as a persistent and shared threat across the region, perpetuated by traitorous elements in collusion with international terrorist networks.
The statement stressed that addressing this “ominous phenomenon” requires collective and coordinated action from all regional states. It called for united efforts to eliminate all forms of terrorism and extremism, which have taken the lives of thousands of innocent people in recent decades.
