Terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan allegedly attacked a road construction company’s camp in Balochistan’s Duki district, martyring a security guard, critically injuring another and abducting 18 construction workers, security sources said.
The incident took place in the Nana Sahib Ziarat area of Duki, where armed assailants reportedly targeted a camp housing workers employed by a road construction company.
According to security sources, an exchange of fire broke out between the attackers and security guards during the assault, leaving one guard martyred and another critically injured.
Following the attack, the armed men allegedly abducted 18 construction workers from the camp and fled the area.
Security forces subsequently launched a search operation to locate the abducted workers and track down the suspected attackers. Efforts are underway to secure the safe recovery of the workers and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Further investigations are also underway, while authorities are expected to release additional details as the operation progresses.
Duki is located approximately 315 kilometers northeast of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan.
The identities of the abducted workers and the full extent of the damage caused by the attack have not yet been disclosed.
