Security forces have killed Tarab Mehsud, described as an important commander of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), during an operation in Dishka village, Makeen, South Waziristan, according to security sources.
The operation was conducted in the area as security forces continued intelligence-led efforts to target militant elements and disrupt their operational networks in the region.
According to the sources, Tarab Mehsud was an important figure within the TTP’s local militant network and had remained active in the Makeen area.
