Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan in Ameenabad, Chagai, and eliminated two terrorists, according to security sources.
The operation was launched on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. During the operation, security forces recovered an RPG-7 launcher, an AK-47 rifle, magazines and 60 rounds of ammunition from the slain terrorists.
The recovery of the weapons and ammunition indicated the terrorists were equipped for armed attacks and other violent activities.
Security forces continue intelligence-based operations in the area to track down terrorist elements and dismantle their networks.
The security forces have reiterated that operations against terrorists will continue until the threat is eliminated.
