Security Forces, Lakki Marwat Operation, Terrorists Eliminated in Lakki Marwat

Security forces killed four terrorists and wounded several others during an operation against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district, sources said.

The operation targeted terrorists operating in the area, with security personnel engaging the suspects during the action. Four terrorists were eliminated, while several others sustained injuries, according to the available information.

The identities and organisational affiliations of the terrorists killed in the operation were not immediately disclosed.

Security forces have continued targeted counterterrorism operations in Lakki Marwat, a district that has remained under pressure from terrorist networks. Earlier this month, police and Counter Terrorism Department personnel conducted a joint operation in the district in which two terrorists were killed, including a suspect wanted in multiple cases involving terrorism, murder and bomb blasts.

The latest operation adds to ongoing efforts by security forces and law-enforcement agencies to disrupt terrorist networks and prevent attacks in the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
