Security forces have conducted a major and successful joint intelligence-based counterterrorism operation across multiple areas of northern Balochistan, resulting in the elimination of six terrorists affiliated with Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and the apprehension of five terrorists associated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The coordinated operation was carried out in response to actionable intelligence regarding the presence, movement and activities of terrorist elements operating across Pishin and Qila Abdullah districts.
According to the information available, security forces launched a comprehensive intelligence-based operation in the areas of Killi Sultan, Ajram, Dinar and Gillo, where terrorist elements were reportedly maintaining hideouts and facilitating militant activity.
Security forces simultaneously targeted multiple suspected terrorist positions across the two districts. The coordinated nature of the operation enabled security personnel to disrupt terrorist activity at several locations and prevent the militants from consolidating their positions or carrying out planned attacks.
As a result of the operation, six BLA terrorists were killed, dealing a significant blow to terrorist elements operating in the area.
In a related development during the operation, five TTP terrorists were apprehended. Their detention is expected to assist authorities in further investigating terrorist networks, their facilitators and their operational links in the region.
The operation represents a significant disruption to terrorist infrastructure operating across northern Balochistan. The simultaneous action against multiple locations reportedly prevented terrorist elements from using the area to establish safe havens, organize movement or plan attacks against security personnel and civilians.
The operation also highlights the evolving security threat posed by the presence of multiple militant organizations and their networks in the region. Security forces remain focused on identifying and dismantling terrorist infrastructure, restricting militant mobility and preventing terrorist organizations from exploiting remote areas for their activities.
The timely intelligence-led action further demonstrates the importance of coordinated counterterrorism operations in disrupting terrorist networks before they can execute planned attacks.
The successful operation reaffirms the state’s resolve to protect the people of Balochistan and prevent terrorist organizations from undermining peace, stability and security in the province.
Security forces remain fully committed to dismantling terrorist infrastructure, disrupting militant networks, restricting the movement of terrorist elements and protecting both local communities and security personnel.
According to the statement attributed to the spokesperson, the writ of the state remains firmly established across Balochistan. The operation also serves as a clear message that elements seeking to destabilize the province through violence and terrorism will continue to face determined action by the state.
All terrorist elements, their facilitators and support networks will continue to be pursued in accordance with the law, with security forces maintaining sustained intelligence and counterterrorism efforts across vulnerable areas.
The operation sends a clear message that terrorist organizations will not be allowed to establish permanent footholds, maintain safe havens or threaten the lives and livelihoods of local communities. Security forces will continue to undertake intelligence-based and coordinated counterterrorism operations against terrorist elements wherever actionable intelligence identifies their presence.
The state remains committed to restoring and preserving lasting peace in Balochistan, safeguarding its population and ensuring that terrorist networks are denied the space and resources required to operate.
