Security Forces have successfully conducted a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) against Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, resulting in the elimination of 11 Khawarij.
According to security sources, the operations were conducted in South Waziristan and Bannu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sasool, District Khuzdar, in Balochistan, based on credible and actionable intelligence regarding the presence and movement of Khawarij elements.
In Bannu, Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against Fitna al-Khawarij, during which two Khawarij were eliminated. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered during the operation. Security Forces further destroyed a hideout of Fitna al-Khawarij using explosive material, effectively disrupting the hostile network operating from the location.
In Ladha, South Waziristan, Security Forces launched an intelligence-based operation following information regarding the movement of Fitna al-Khawarij elements. The timely detection and tracking of Khawarij movement enabled Security Forces to effectively cordon the area and undertake a decisive engagement. As a result, five Khawarij were eliminated. The operation demonstrated the effectiveness of timely intelligence, surveillance, and coordinated ground action in preventing hostile elements from exploiting the area for further activities.
In Sasool, District Khuzdar, Balochistan, Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against Fitna al-Hindustan. During the operation, four Khawarij were eliminated. The identified elements were effectively engaged with the assistance of a quadcopter, enabling Security Forces to accurately target the threat. Search and sanitization activities were subsequently undertaken in the surrounding area to ensure that any remaining hostile elements were located and the area was secured.
During all three operations, Security Forces took necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of the local population. Particular attention was given to protecting the lives and property of innocent civilians and ensuring that no harm was caused to the local population.
The elimination of 11 Khawarij in coordinated intelligence-based operations represents a significant operational success and underscores the resolve of Security Forces to counter the activities of Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.
Security Forces remain vigilant and continue to undertake intelligence-led surveillance, search, and sanitization operations in the respective areas. Follow-up actions are being pursued to ensure that hostile elements are denied the opportunity to establish footholds or pose a threat to the security and peace of local communities.
