Security Forces Neutralize Five Fitna al-Hindustan Operatives in Successful Intelligence-Based Operation in Panjgur

Security forces have successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kali Suran area of Panjgur, Balochistan, as part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fitna III, resulting in the elimination of five Fitna al-Hindustan operatives and the recovery of a significant quantity of weapons, explosives, communication equipment, and other military stores.

The operation was launched on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the movement of a group of Fitna al-Hindustan operatives, who were reportedly preparing to undertake a major terrorist attack in the area. Acting swiftly on the available intelligence, security forces established strategic roadblocks and deployed an effective ambush to intercept the operatives, who were travelling on motorcycles.

Through the coordinated and precise use of advanced surveillance, intelligence, and weapon systems, security forces successfully engaged the group, resulting in the neutralization of five Fitna al-Hindustan operatives, while several others were reportedly injured during the operation.

The operation also led to the recovery of a substantial cache of arms, ammunition, explosive material, vehicles, motorcycles, and communication equipment. The recovered items include:

  • 03 vehicles
  • 02 motorcycles
  • 01 Light Machine Gun (LMG)
  • 04 Sub-Machine Guns (SMGs)
  • 01 Improvised Explosive Device (IED)
  • 03 walkie-talkie sets
  • 04 bandoliers
  • 10 magazines
  • 200 rounds of SMG ammunition
  • 500 rounds of LMG ammunition
  • Flag of Fitna al-Hindustan

The recovery of the IED, large quantities of ammunition, automatic weapons, and communication equipment provides further indication of the group’s operational preparedness and its reported intent to conduct violent and destabilizing activities in the region.

According to preliminary information, the neutralized Fitna al-Hindustan operatives were reportedly involved in a range of serious criminal and terrorist activities in Panjgur and adjoining areas. Their reported activities included armed robberies, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, targeted killings of civilians, and preparations for suicide attacks. The successful operation has consequently dealt a significant blow to the group’s operational network and its reported efforts to facilitate violence and instability in the area.

The operation demonstrates the effectiveness of the security forces’ intelligence-led approach, whereby actionable intelligence is rapidly converted into precise and coordinated ground operations to prevent threats before they can materialize. The successful interception of the Fitna al-Hindustan operatives also prevented the group from reaching its reported intended target and carrying out a potentially devastating attack.

Security forces remain fully committed to protecting the lives and property of the people of Balochistan and to dismantling the networks, facilitators, and logistical support structures associated with Fitna al-Hindustan. Operations against the group are being conducted with determination, professionalism, and sustained operational vigilance.
