Turbat Family Breaks Silence: “No Ties With Laiba Nazar” Amid Fitna al-Hindustan Link

In a significant public statement reflecting growing concern over the activities of Fitna al-Hindustan, the family of Laiba Nazar, who is  associated with the group, has publicly announced its complete disassociation from her and from any unlawful activity in which she may be involved.

Nazar Muhammad, a resident of Turbat and Laiba Nazar’s father, stated that his daughter left home on 8 July, after which all communication with her was lost. He said that the family has no information regarding her current whereabouts or the people with whom she may be staying.

In his statement, Nazar Muhammad made it clear that the family does not endorse, support, or accept responsibility for any unlawful activities that Laiba Nazar may potentially be involved in. He emphasized that if she is found to have participated in any illegal activity, the family will have no association with or responsibility for such acts.

The public declaration represents a clear effort by the family to distance itself from any alleged association with Fitna al-Hindustan and to distinguish itself from any actions that may be attributed to the individual.

The statement comes amid continued concern over activities attributed to Fitna al-Hindustan and the impact of such activities on communities and families in Balochistan. Public disassociation by relatives can also reflect the social and personal consequences associated with involvement in violent or unlawful activities.

The family’s position underscores a broader message that individuals who become involved in unlawful activities do not necessarily represent their families or communities. By publicly distancing themselves from any such conduct, families can make clear that they neither endorse nor accept actions carried out in their name or attributed to their relatives.

At the same time, the circumstances surrounding Laiba Nazar’s disappearance and her alleged association remain subject to verification. Her current whereabouts, the nature of any alleged affiliation, and whether she has participated in any unlawful activity have not been independently established through the information presently available.

The family has nevertheless made its position unequivocal: any unlawful conduct attributed to Laiba Nazar would be considered solely her individual responsibility and would not represent the family or its views.

The development highlights the increasingly difficult social environment created when individuals are suspected of becoming involved with armed or unlawful organizations, with families often facing the consequences of actions over which they may have no knowledge or control.
