Security forces have eliminated four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Rajgal Valley of Bara, Khyber District, as part of the ongoing Operation 11 Garaj, according to security sources.
The operation was launched after the security forces received intelligence regarding the presence and movement of terrorists in the area. Acting swiftly on the information, troops moved to the suspected location and conducted a targeted operation against the terrorist hideout.
During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists. The timely action prevented the terrorists from carrying out their suspected plans and disrupted their activities in the strategically important valley.
Security sources said the terrorists were attempting to operate from the difficult and mountainous terrain of Rajgal Valley, an area that has previously been exploited by terrorist elements seeking to establish hideouts and evade detection.
Following the engagement, security forces launched a clearance and search operation in the surrounding areas to ensure that no other terrorists or facilitators remained in the vicinity.
Security personnel are continuing to search the area, with further action being taken on the basis of information obtained during the operation.
