Operation, Karak Search and Strike Operation, Karak Operation

A large-scale search and strike operation was carried out in the border areas of Karak and Takht-e-Nasrati as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security, prevent terrorist movement and deny criminal elements safe operating space, police said on Friday.

The operation covered several sensitive locations, including key entry and exit routes, suspected hideouts and vulnerable areas where police conducted extensive searches and strict checking of suspicious individuals.

Security personnel, backed by Quick Response Force teams, Rescue 15 squads, special units and local police, established checkpoints and carried out systematic searches aimed at preventing the movement of terrorists and other outlaws operating near the district’s border areas.

According to police, the operation was launched to reinforce the prevailing security environment, enhance surveillance and maintain constant pressure on terrorist facilitators and criminal networks attempting to exploit remote routes.

Searches were conducted at suspected locations, while security measures were tightened across strategically important points to ensure that no suspicious activity went unnoticed.

Police said such intelligence-led search and strike operations remain an important component of the broader counterterrorism strategy designed to disrupt terrorist mobility, improve area domination and reassure local communities.

Officials reiterated that similar operations would continue without interruption to safeguard lives and property, strengthen public security and maintain sustained pressure on terrorists, their facilitators and other lawbreakers operating in the region.
