Security forces have successfully destroyed a major terrorist hideout belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan during an ongoing counterterrorism operation in the Khad Kocha area, security sources said.
According to preliminary reports, the operation targeted a fortified militant position after intelligence indicated the presence of terrorists using the hideout for planning and coordinating attacks in the region. During the precision strike, the hideout was completely destroyed, while multiple Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists, affiliated with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), were reportedly eliminated.
Security sources said the operation forms part of the continuing campaign against terrorist networks operating in Balochistan. The targeted compound was believed to have been used as a staging point for militant movement, storage of weapons and explosives, and planning of attacks against security forces and civilians.
Following the successful strike, security forces established a tight cordon around the area and launched a comprehensive search and clearance operation to locate any terrorists attempting to flee, recover weapons and explosives, and ensure that no remaining militant infrastructure survives.
The latest action comes amid intensified counterterrorism operations across Balochistan, including recent engagements in Mastung and surrounding areas, where security forces have eliminated multiple Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists, dismantled several hideouts, and recovered large quantities of arms, ammunition, improvised explosive devices, and bomb-making material.
Security sources reiterated that operations against Fitna al-Hindustan and other terrorist organizations will continue without interruption until every terrorist network operating in the province is dismantled and lasting peace is restored.
