Another piece of evidence pointing towards alleged collusion between BYC and BLA has surfaced.
The day before yesterday, terrorists attacked a security forces’ check post in Jiwani, Balochistan. However, due to timely and effective response from the security forces, four terrorists were eliminated.
According to reports, three security personnel also sustained injuries as a result of the terrorists’ firing.
Initial investigations revealed that one of the terrorists involved in the attack was a missing person linked to BYC.
This is not entirely surprising, as such terrorist incidents are reported on a regular basis in Balochistan. And whenever investigations are conducted and terrorists are identified, many of them turn out to be missing persons associated with BYC.
The incident further highlighted that terrorists from Jiwani, in coordination with a network of smugglers, attacked the security forces’ check post. Smugglers and terrorists acted jointly in the assault.
However, alert and well-coordinated security personnel successfully foiled the attack and eliminated four terrorists in a timely response.
Subsequent investigations confirmed that one of the identified terrorists was a missing person linked to BYC. He was identified as Attaullah, son of Ghazi Khan, a resident of Awaran.
Investigations further revealed that a non-governmental organization, PANC, known as Peace, Justice and Equal Rights, published a report in February 2025. The report mentioned 147 missing persons.
When examining the list of 122 missing persons, the name of Attaullah, son of Ghazi Khan, was found, who is also described as the head of the terrorist organization. His photograph was also included in the report.
Following the incident, security personnel identified the terrorists and traced their background. The same individual also appeared in the 2025 PANC report as a missing person.
This development is not being described as a surprising discovery.
Earlier also, there have been multiple reports indicating that in attacks such as the Jaffar Express incident, terrorists who are killed are later identified as missing persons linked to BYC. In Quetta, terrorists identified after operations have also been traced back as missing persons linked to BYC.
Similarly, in Nushki, individuals linked to Ma Rang Baloch have also been identified among missing persons. Likewise, in Awaran, Daesh, and TAMP-related incidents, missing persons linked to BYC have also been identified.
There is considerable evidence in this regard. The evidence from the day before yesterday’s incident clearly suggests that these missing persons eventually move towards mountainous regions, where they undergo training and later carry out attacks on state institutions.
A recent report also claimed that Ma Rang Baloch’s organization, BYC, conducts protests within educational institutions, where young individuals are allegedly incited against state institutions. They are then reportedly taken to mountainous areas for training.
After that, they take up arms against the state and carry out operations targeting state institutions.
It has also been alleged that the Baloch Youth Committee, known as BYC, functions as a political wing of BLA, BLF, and BRA.
On one hand, terrorist organizations target state institutions, security personnel, and innocent citizens, with the objective of causing destruction and damage to property.
On the other hand, their political wing, BYC, issues statements that are described as contradictory to the state narrative.
Most of them are identified as terrorists.
It remains to be seen what further steps state institutions will take against BYC.
