In a serious security incident in the Duki district of Balochistan, Fitna al-Hindustan launched a coordinated armed attack on a local police station using heavy weaponry, resulting in the martyrdom of one police personnel and injuries to three others.

According to details reported, Fitna al-Hindustan armed attackers opened heavy fire on the police station on Tuesday night, targeting law enforcement personnel stationed at the facility. During the exchange of fire, Police Constable Syed Hassan Zarkoon embraced martyrdom, while three other personnel identified as Muhammad Wali Zarkoon and Baloch Khan Luni sustained injuries.

Police personnel stationed at the site responded immediately and with remarkable courage, engaging the attackers in a strong counteroffensive. Their timely and determined action successfully repelled the assault and forced the assailants to retreat from the area. The attackers reportedly attempted to exploit the cover of darkness to launch a surprise attack, but their objective was foiled due to the swift response of the police.

Following the incident, a wave of grief and concern spread among law enforcement ranks over the martyrdom of Constable Syed Hassan Zarkoon. The injured personnel were promptly shifted to a nearby medical facility, where their condition has been reported as stable.

Upon receiving information about the attack, a Quick Response Force led by SP Duki Mansoor Ahmed Buzdar, along with units from police, Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF), and Frontier Corps (FC), immediately reached the site. Security forces swiftly cordoned off the entire area and initiated a comprehensive search and clearance operation to trace and apprehend the attackers.

SP Mansoor Ahmed Buzdar, while speaking to the media, stated that the personnel demonstrated exceptional bravery in the face of the attack. He affirmed that Fitna al-Hindustan elements would find no safe haven in the region and reiterated that the state stands firmly with the family of the martyred constable, while ensuring the best possible medical care for the injured personnel.

He further stated that the attack represents another link in the ongoing wave of violence targeting security forces in Balochistan, adding that provincial authorities and security agencies are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.

Initial reports suggest that the attackers numbered between 8 to 10 individuals and were equipped with advanced and heavy weaponry. The intensity and coordination of the assault indicate a pre-planned act aimed at destabilizing peace in the region.

As of the latest updates, search and clearance operations remain ongoing. Security forces have established additional checkpoints in surrounding areas, and strict monitoring of suspicious movement continues as efforts intensify to apprehend those responsible.
