Security forces carried out a successful intelligence-supported operation in the Sabzap area of Panjgur, dealing a significant blow to elements identified as Fitna-al-Hindustan, according to official security sources.
The swift and coordinated operation resulted in the neutralization of six Fitna-al-Hindustan operatives, while seven others were reportedly injured during the exchange of fire. Officials confirmed that the action was launched on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the presence and movement of armed elements in the area.
Security sources stated that the operation was executed with precision and rapid response, aimed at preempting any potential threat to civilian populations and maintaining law and order in the district. The targeted engagement reflects ongoing efforts by security forces to dismantle hostile networks and deny them operational space across Balochistan.
Following the initial contact, security forces initiated a large-scale area clearance operation in and around Sabzap to ensure complete sanitization of the region. Reinforcements have been deployed, and search operations continue to identify and eliminate any remaining threats or support structures.
Officials emphasized that the situation remains fully under control, with all necessary measures being taken to secure the area and safeguard local residents. Intelligence and surveillance capabilities have been further strengthened to prevent regrouping or escape of remaining hostile elements.
A security official stated that such operations form part of a sustained counterterrorism strategy aimed at ensuring long-term peace and stability in Balochistan. “No space will be allowed for Fitna-al-Hindustan or its facilitators to operate,” the official said, adding that operations will continue with full intensity wherever required.
Authorities further highlighted that intelligence-based operations remain critical in disrupting logistical chains, communication networks, and mobility of hostile elements operating in difficult terrain.
Local communities have been assured that security forces remain fully committed to restoring and maintaining durable peace in the region, with every possible step being taken to protect civilian life and property.
