Security forces successfully foiled a terrorist attack on a security post in Loi Mamund Maina area of Bajaur, preventing significant damage and neutralizing the assault.
According to details, terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khwarij attempted to target the security installation but were met with an immediate and effective response.
Security forces’ timely action and defensive measures ensured the attack was repelled, preventing any breach of the post.
In the ensuing exchange of fire, three attackers were eliminated while several others were reported injured. Injured terrorists managed to flee the scene.
Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down fleeing terrorists and any facilitators linked to the attack.
