A significant peace jirga was convened in the remote areas of Chapri and Dargai in Tehsil Jamrud, where prominent tribal elders and local notables gathered under the leadership of Malik Umar Syed Kuki Khel to discuss regional security challenges and reinforce collective resolve against Khawarij and anti-state elements.
The jirga brought together influential community representatives who unanimously reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding peace, stability, and national security. Participants stressed that Khawarij and other anti-state actors would not be allowed to undermine the sovereignty, unity, and social harmony of the region.
During the deliberations, tribal elders expressed full solidarity with the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, pledging continued cooperation in all efforts aimed at maintaining law and order. A key development announced during the jirga was the safe and dignified return of families from Dargai, who had temporarily relocated to Chapri due to recent security concerns linked to Khawarij activities.
