DG ISPR Challenges India Over Pahalgam Evidence, Says “Truth Has Defeated the Narrative”

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has congratulated the nation on the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq, stating that India has, even after a year, failed to present any evidence regarding the Pahalgam incident.

Addressing a joint press briefing alongside senior officers of the Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy, the DG ISPR said that under the vision of the military leadership, Pakistan’s Armed Forces successfully defeated a larger adversary, adding that the Armed Forces of Pakistan have consistently lived up to the expectations of the nation.

He stated that what transpired during Marka-e-Haq is well known not only in Pakistan but also across India, emphasizing that Pakistan had “buried the arrogance of the enemy” a year ago through a decisive response.

Referring to the Pahalgam incident, the DG ISPR said that India immediately blamed Pakistan without any investigation, adding that this pattern reflects a long-standing attempt to construct a false narrative portraying Pakistan as being involved in terrorism.

He further stated that India has yet to present any credible evidence regarding the Pahalgam incident, despite repeated allegations. “Those who accuse Pakistan are themselves the biggest perpetrators of terrorism,” he remarked.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that India’s anti-Pakistan narrative has been permanently discredited, adding that attempts to malign Pakistan through fabricated claims and propaganda have failed to gain international acceptance.

He also stated that India continues to engage in covert activities and attempts to destabilize Pakistan while simultaneously building false narratives for political and strategic gains. However, he added, the Armed Forces of Pakistan remain fully prepared to respond to any challenge across all domains.

The DG ISPR reiterated that Pakistan’s Armed Forces, in line with national expectations and strategic vision, have demonstrated resilience, professionalism, and operational superiority on every front.

He emphasized that Marka-e-Haq stands as a testament to Pakistan’s defensive capability and national unity, reaffirming that any future aggression would be met with a firm and decisive response.

“The Armed Forces of Pakistan remain prepared on all fronts,” he concluded.
