A blast near New Delhi’s historic Red Fort metro station this evening has been confirmed as a gas cylinder explosion. Authorities have found no evidence of external involvement.
Despite the clear facts, Indian accounts—particularly those linked to intelligence-affiliated networks—immediately sought to blame Pakistan without a shred of proof. Such behaviour is reckless, irresponsible, and undermines truth, regional trust, and stability.
The international community and global media must hold India accountable for spreading unverified allegations and ensure that facts, not fabricated narratives, drive reporting. This recurring pattern of instant blame must be challenged decisively.
