DG ISPR Meets Saylani IT Students, Emphasizes Pakistan’s Commitment to Peace and Stability

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, reiterated that Pakistan has always given preference to peace over conflict, stating that the country’s victory in Operation Bunyan Al-Marsous stands as a testament to the triumph of peace. The DG ISPR made these remarks during an interactive session with students of the Saylani IT Program in Karachi. The session was marked by enthusiastic participation, with students engaging in candid dialogue on national security, regional challenges, and Pakistan’s defense outlook.

“Pakistan’s armed forces are professional, disciplined, and deeply committed to their constitutional responsibilities,” Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif told the students. “In the age of information warfare, you – the youth – have served as the frontline defenders of Pakistan’s narrative.”

He highlighted the role of the Pakistan Army as a stabilizing force in the region, asserting that the country will continue to act as a net regional stabilizer amid evolving geopolitical dynamics.

The students, expressing their strong sense of patriotism, affirmed their willingness to support the armed forces in defending the nation on every front. “The Pakistan Army is our pride, and we, the people, are its real strength,” they said.

Concluding the session, students thanked the DG ISPR for the opportunity and lauded the initiative, expressing hope that such engagements would continue in the future to strengthen civil-military understanding. The event ended with resounding chants of “Pakistan Zindabad.”
