Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Sunday reaffirmed that Balochistan is an integral part of Pakistan and can never be separated from it. He asserted that the wave of terrorism in the province has no ideological or nationalist foundation and is entirely orchestrated and sponsored by India with the aim of destabilizing the region.

Speaking during a special session with teachers at the “Hilal Talks 2025” program, organised under the ISPR’s initiative, the military spokesperson dismissed separatist propaganda as baseless. “The propaganda suggesting that Balochistan can be separated from Pakistan is not only false but also deeply misleading. Balochistan is woven into the economic and social fabric of Pakistan,” he said. “Baloch, Sindhi, Pashtun, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Balti, we are all brothers. No one can divide us.”

General Chaudhry further clarified that the terrorism taking place in Balochistan is not grounded in any legitimate ideology. “There is no concept, no ideology behind this violence. It is purely India-sponsored,” he stated, accusing New Delhi of being the key source of instability across the region.

He revealed that Pakistan’s security establishment has dubbed these terror outfits as “Fitna-e-Hindustan”, a title reflecting the Indian state’s role in funding and managing separatist and terrorist actors in Balochistan. “These groups are paid by India. Their leaders receive medical treatment there, are issued Indian passports, and undergo training. Their operations are often coordinated using Afghanistan as a base,” he said.

General Chaudhry warned that these groups are, in reality, enemies of the people of Balochistan. “Their greatest fear is development,” he added. “If schools, jobs, and awareness spread across Balochistan, India knows it will lose its influence forever. That is why they target progress.”

Addressing youth and educators, he urged the people of Balochistan not to fall prey to terrorist propaganda. “You have to decide whether to become tools of terrorists or to empower yourselves through education and technology,” he told the audience. “Balochistan has the potential to become Pakistan’s most prosperous province.”

Taking direct aim at separatist figures and their foreign sympathizers, General Chaudhry criticized individuals like Dr. Mah Rang Baloch, questioning their links to terrorism. “She cries about being a scholar, but who pays for her international travel? Why are the same foreign powers supporting her who support global unrest? Who funds her rallies and events?”

Referring to recent terror attacks such as the bombing of the Jaffar Express, he questioned why figures like her attempt to politicise the deaths of terrorists. “They parade the bodies of terrorists who’ve killed innocent women and children and then claim victimhood. This is not activism, it’s complicity,” he said, calling such actors nothing less than Indian proxies.

Reinforcing the unwavering resolve of the Pakistan Army, General Chaudhry said, “All such groups are Fitna-e-Hindustan, enemies of our people, enemies of peace, and enemies of Pakistan.” He stressed that India has no genuine sympathy for Balochistan or Pakistan. “India is Pakistan’s eternal enemy. It has no concern for humanity or the people of Balochistan.”

He called on the people to rise against manipulation. “You must decide not to be pawns in the hands of these terrorists. When we say, ‘Kashmir will become Pakistan,’ it is because the Kashmiris say it themselves, because our bond is not political but one of blood, culture, and religion.”

General Chaudhry also rejected India’s assumptions about Pakistan’s internal unity. “India once believed that if it attacked, Pakistan’s people and army would be divided. They were wrong. This is a people’s army, we deliver vaccines and clean drains, and we fight terrorists and foreign enemies alike. No force can drive a wedge between the armed forces and the public.”

He concluded with a powerful message: “India’s assumptions have turned to dust. Pakistan stands united, and will not bow.”
