In a precision intelligence-based operation conducted in Lakki Marwat district, security forces neutralized one of the key commanders of the banned TTP aka Fitna al-Khwarij, and his accomplice, following actionable intelligence about their movement and hideout in the area.

Officials said the operation was launched after surveillance confirmed activity linked to a network described sponsored by India and backed, supported and facilitated by the Afghan Taliban. Troops swiftly moved into position, cordoning off the locality before neutralizing the threat.

During a brief but intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were eliminated, one of them was later identified as commander Kaleemullah alias Qaima who has been found involved in many terrorist incidents. Security forces maintained strict control of the surroundings to prevent any escape or reinforcement attempt.

A follow-up clearance operation is underway to sweep the area for additional suspects, facilitators, and concealed weapon stockpiles. Authorities have indicated that further intelligence-driven actions will continue as part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts in the region.
