Security forces have reportedly eliminated two more operatives of Fitna al-Hindustan during a successful intelligence-based operation in the Palantak area of Washuk district, Balochistan, according to security sources.
The operation was carried out as part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fitna, which, according to security sources, is focused on dismantling the networks responsible for violent and destabilizing activities across Balochistan.
According to the sources, both Fitna al-Hindustan operatives killed during the operation were allegedly involved in previous attacks targeting the Mashkel Police Station and the Customs House. Their elimination is being described by security officials as a significant development in ongoing efforts to disrupt the group’s operational and logistical networks in the province.
During the operation, the vehicle being used by the Fitna al-Hindustan operatives was reportedly destroyed. Security personnel subsequently recovered a substantial quantity of weapons, ammunition, and other military equipment from the site.
Security sources stated that the recovered weapons and ammunition were allegedly intended for use in further attacks, including targeted killings of members of the Baloch population and other violent activities.
The recovery of the weapons cache has heightened concerns over alleged preparations for additional attacks in the region. According to security sources, the operation therefore disrupted not only the immediate presence of the two Fitna al-Hindustan operatives but also potentially prevented further acts of violence.
The latest action forms part of continuing intelligence-led operations by Pakistan’s security forces against Fitna al-Hindustan networks operating in Balochistan. Security agencies have increasingly emphasized the importance of intelligence-based operations in identifying hostile networks, locating their hideouts, disrupting logistical arrangements, recovering weapons and ammunition, and preventing planned attacks before they can be executed.
The operation in Washuk is particularly significant given the alleged connection of the two individuals with attacks on law-enforcement and customs facilities, according to security sources.
