Three Brothers Killed in IED Blast by Fitna al-Hindustan in Duki, Balochistan

Three brothers were killed and another individual was injured after an improvised explosive device (IED), planted by elements of Fitna al-Hindustan, exploded in the Killi Bakhtiar Khan area of Luni Tehsil, Duki District, Balochistan.

According to Duki District Police, the incident occurred when a vehicle carrying local residents was passing through a road section resembling a natural watercourse. The roadside explosive detonated as the vehicle passed through the area, resulting in multiple casualties.

According to Duki Superintendent of Police Mansoor Ahmed Buzdar, three brothers Rahmatullah, Daurani and Naimatullah, sons of Sultan  died at the scene as a result of the explosion. Another individual, identified as Atiqullah, son of Maulvi Naik Muhammad, sustained injuries in the blast.

Local sources said the victims were reportedly travelling in the area for agricultural work when their vehicle was struck by the explosion. The incident has caused deep concern among the local community, particularly as the victims were reportedly ordinary residents travelling for their daily livelihood.

Preliminary information indicates that the explosive device had been concealed alongside the route and detonated as the vehicle passed through the area. The use of an IED against a civilian vehicle represents a serious threat to public safety and demonstrates the danger posed by concealed explosives in roads and remote access routes.

The incident has also raised concerns regarding the safety of local communities that depend on these routes for agricultural and other routine activities. Following the explosion, police initiated a search operation in the surrounding area to identify those responsible for planting the explosive device and to determine whether additional threats or explosive devices may be present.

Security personnel are conducting searches and gathering evidence from the scene as part of the investigation. Authorities are also examining the circumstances of the incident and working to establish the network behind the alleged attack.
