A condolence gathering was held in Afghanistan’s Paktia province for an Afghan terrorist affiliated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), identified as Ahmed alias Zubair, son of Karim, who hailed from the village of Sarki Malang in Ahmad Abad district.
According to details, the condolence ceremony took place in his native village, where locals gathered following confirmation of his death.
The deceased was among a group of Afghan terrorists linked to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) who died during heavy snowfall in January 2026. Their bodies were recovered near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, with some retrieved earlier while others were recovered later after snow melted.
All the terrorists were reportedly associated with a TTP formation operating in Bajaur district.
