Security forces dealt another significant setback to Fitna al-Hindustan during a series of successful intelligence-based operations across Balochistan, eliminating a total of 14 terrorists in separate engagements in Kharan, Mastung, and Kalat.
According to available details, security forces launched coordinated operations after receiving credible intelligence regarding the presence and movement of terrorists in different parts of the province. During the operations, the terrorists attempted to resist the advancing troops, resulting in intense exchanges of fire.
In Kharan district, security forces eliminated seven terrorists, while five more were neutralized during an operation in Mastung. In a separate engagement in Kalat, two terrorists were also eliminated, bringing the total number of terrorists killed in the three operations to 14.
The operations are being viewed as another major success in the ongoing campaign to dismantle terrorist networks operating in Balochistan. The coordinated nature of the operations suggests sustained intelligence gathering and effective surveillance aimed at disrupting terrorist hideouts, movement corridors, and facilitation networks.
Security sources said search and clearance operations were carried out in the affected areas following the engagements to ensure that no terrorists remained hidden and to prevent any regrouping by surviving elements. Efforts are also underway to trace facilitators and logistical supporters believed to have assisted the terrorists.
The latest operations underscore the continued resolve of Pakistan’s security forces to eliminate Fitna al-Hindustan and deny terrorist groups the ability to destabilize Balochistan through acts of violence and intimidation. The successful operations also reinforce ongoing efforts to restore lasting peace, strengthen the writ of the state, and protect local communities from the threat posed by terrorist organizations.
