Three bodies were recovered from different locations in Lakki Marwat district on Saturday, police said, adding that all the victims had been shot dead.
According to police sources, two bodies were found within the limits of Ghazni Khel police station near Ismatabad, while a third body was recovered from the Sarai Naurang jurisdiction near the Khesor Kalli canal area.
Officials said the victims appeared to have been killed at close range. The identities of the deceased were not immediately known.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are collecting evidence from both sites to determine the circumstances of the killings.
Security forces have also been informed as part of routine procedure, while further details are awaited.
