Security forces have eliminated seven terrorists of the Fitna al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in Mastung district of Balochistan under the ongoing Radd-ul-Fitna 3 counterterrorism campaign, according to security sources.
The operation was launched on the basis of intelligence regarding the presence and movement of terrorists linked with the Indian-sponsored terror network in the area. Security forces moved swiftly to the identified location and effectively engaged the terrorists.
During the ensuing operation, seven terrorists were eliminated, dealing another significant blow to the network attempting to establish a foothold in Balochistan and carry out terrorist activities in the province.
Security forces also recovered a substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition from the operation site. The recovery indicates that the eliminated terrorists were equipped to carry out further attacks and maintain terrorist activity in the area.
The successful IBO comes as security forces continue intelligence-led operations across Balochistan under Radd-ul-Fitna 3, targeting terrorist networks, their hideouts, facilitators and logistical infrastructure.
Mastung remains strategically significant because of its location and connectivity with other parts of Balochistan, making the disruption of terrorist networks operating in and around the district an important component of broader counterterrorism efforts.
Security forces have reiterated their resolve to continue operations against terrorist elements without interruption until the threat of terrorism is completely eliminated and lasting peace and stability are established.
The latest operation also underscores the increasing reliance on intelligence-based action to identify terrorist concentrations before they can execute attacks, while simultaneously disrupting their weapons, ammunition and operational networks.
