Security Forces Eliminate Six Indian-Backed Terrorists in IBO in Panjgur: ISPR

Pakistan’s security forces successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Panjgur district of Balochistan, eliminating six Indian-backed terrorists during a targeted action based on credible intelligence regarding their presence in the area.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched following reports about the presence of Indian-backed terrorists operating in the region. Acting swiftly on the intelligence, security forces carried out coordinated raids on multiple terrorist hideouts, resulting in the successful neutralization of six terrorists linked to the group identified by Pakistani authorities as “Fitna al-Hindustan.”

The operation represents another significant achievement in Pakistan’s ongoing campaign against terrorism and efforts to dismantle foreign-sponsored terrorist networks seeking to undermine the country’s peace, stability, and development.

ISPR stated that the killed terrorists were involved in multiple acts of terrorism and violent activities targeting security forces and innocent civilians. Their elimination is expected to contribute significantly to improving the security environment in the region and disrupting terrorist operational capabilities.

During the operation, security forces recovered a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a vehicle used by the terrorists. The recovered material is expected to provide valuable intelligence regarding the group’s operational network, support infrastructure, and future plans.

Security officials emphasized that the operation demonstrates the effectiveness of Pakistan’s intelligence-led counterterrorism strategy and the unwavering commitment of the armed forces to protecting the nation from externally supported terrorist threats.

According to ISPR, comprehensive clearance operations remain underway in the area to locate and eliminate any remaining Indian-backed terrorists, facilitators, and support elements. Security forces are conducting extensive search operations to ensure that no terrorist presence remains in the region.

“The security forces of Pakistan remain fully determined to eliminate every Indian-sponsored terrorist operating on Pakistani soil and to dismantle all networks involved in promoting instability and violence,” the statement noted.

The military further reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their counterterrorism campaign under the framework of Vision Azm-e-Istehkam, the national strategy approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan (NAP). The initiative aims to strengthen national resilience, enhance intelligence coordination, and eradicate terrorism in all its forms.

Pakistan has repeatedly highlighted the threat posed by foreign-sponsored terrorism and has reaffirmed its resolve to confront and defeat all elements seeking to destabilize the country. Officials stressed that sustained counterterrorism operations, intelligence-based actions, and close coordination among security institutions remain essential to safeguarding national security and preserving long-term peace.

The successful operation in Panjgur reflects the vigilance, professionalism, and operational readiness of Pakistan’s security forces. It also sends a clear message that terrorists and their facilitators will find no safe haven within Pakistan’s borders.

As clearance operations continue, Pakistan’s armed forces remain committed to their mission of eliminating terrorism, defending national sovereignty, and ensuring a secure and stable future for the people of Pakistan.
