Security forces have conducted successful intelligence-based operations against terrorist elements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, eliminating seven Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists and dismantling terrorist infrastructure in the areas targeted.
The operations form part of the continuing counter-terrorism campaign being undertaken under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 in Balochistan, reflecting the security forces’ sustained efforts to identify, disrupt, and neutralize terrorist networks and their operational capabilities.
According to security sources, security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Bara, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the presence of Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists. During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the identified terrorist elements, resulting in the elimination of five Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists.
A substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the possession of the eliminated terrorists. The recovery of the weapons and ammunition provides further evidence of the operational resources available to the terrorist elements operating in the area.
As part of the operation, security forces also took decisive action against the terrorists’ infrastructure, completely destroying their hideouts and thereby disrupting their ability to use the area for planning, preparing, and conducting terrorist activities.
Meanwhile, security forces continue to conduct robust counter-terrorism operations in Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3. According to security sources, security forces carried out a successful operation in the Nok Kacha area of Chagai District, where two Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists were eliminated.
The terrorists reportedly attempted to flee after setting an empty water bowser on fire in the Nok Kacha area. Security forces responded immediately and effectively, pursuing the fleeing terrorists and eliminating both of them.
According to security sources, the two terrorists were also involved in acts of arson at various locations along the N-40 highway, where terrorist elements had been carrying out disruptive activities aimed at damaging infrastructure and creating insecurity in the area.
The timely response by security forces prevented the terrorists from escaping and further disrupted their activities along an important road corridor in Balochistan. The latest operations come amid sustained counter-terrorism efforts against Fitna al-Hindustan and associated terrorist elements operating in different parts of the country.
Security sources further stated that 11 Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists involved in similar destructive activities had also been eliminated on August 31, demonstrating the continued pressure being maintained against terrorist networks involved in violence, sabotage, arson, and attacks on public infrastructure.
The operations in Bara and Chagai underscore the importance of timely intelligence, rapid response, and coordinated security action in countering terrorist threats. Security forces continue to maintain vigilance across sensitive areas and are taking targeted action against terrorist hideouts, personnel, and infrastructure whenever credible intelligence identifies a threat.
