The gunfight took place in the Garhi Sherdad area of Peshawar, where security forces engaged terrorists in an exchange of fire. One terrorist was killed, while others managed to escape.
According to security sources, the body of the martyred police officer, the body of the slain terrorist, and the injured personnel were shifted to a hospital following the incident. The injured personnel were provided medical treatment, while efforts to establish the identity of the killed terrorist were underway.
Following the exchange of fire, the area was cordoned off, and a search operation was launched to track down the fleeing terrorists.
