Police and Frontier Corps personnel have launched a joint search-and-strike operation in the Pindiali area of Mohmand district as part of intensified counterterrorism measures.
The operation was conducted across Shahid Banda and adjoining areas, where security personnel carried out checks at sensitive locations and screened individuals, motorcycles and vehicles for possible links to terrorist activity.
Roadblocks were established at key points during the operation, while search teams moved through selected areas to identify and intercept suspicious individuals and prevent terrorist movement.
Female searchers were also deployed to inspect suspected houses, while personnel from the Special Branch and District Special Branch supported the operation through security checks and intelligence-related screening.
The joint operation is part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts in the district, where security forces have continued surveillance and targeted searches in areas considered vulnerable to terrorist activity.
