Security officials conducted a joint search and surveillance operation in the outskirts of Bahadar Khel as part of ongoing efforts to prevent militant activity and maintain peace in the district.
The operation was carried out by police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Ghul Banda, Neki Ziarat and adjoining mountainous areas, where security teams searched difficult terrain, key locations and suspected hideouts.
Officials said modern drone technology was also deployed to conduct aerial surveillance of remote valleys and high mountain peaks to detect any suspicious movement and strengthen monitoring of potential militant routes.
Security officials said such intelligence-based operations would continue to ensure public safety and deny anti-state elements any opportunity to establish a foothold in the area.Headline options.
