PM Shehbaz Vows Decisive Action After Deadly Quetta Blast Near Chaman Phattak

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday strongly condemned the deadly blast near Chaman Phattak in Quetta, stating that such cowardly acts of terrorism cannot weaken the resolve of the Pakistani nation.

In a statement shared on social media platform X, the Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the explosion and extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the attack resulted in the martyrdom of innocent civilians and injuries to several others, describing the deliberate targeting of unarmed people as a crime against humanity.

“The targeting of innocent civilians is an unforgivable act and a blatant violation of human values,” the Prime Minister said, while praying for the speedy recovery of those injured in the incident.

He further emphasized that the entire nation stands united with the people of Balochistan during this difficult time and reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to eliminating terrorism from the country.

“The people of Pakistan will not allow terrorists to succeed in their attempts to spread fear and instability,” the Prime Minister stated.

Officials said security and law enforcement agencies remain actively engaged in investigations related to the blast, while efforts are underway to identify and bring those responsible to justice.

The Prime Minister also paid tribute to the resilience and sacrifices of the people of Balochistan, noting that the province has repeatedly demonstrated courage in the face of terrorism and violence.

Reiterating the government’s determination, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan would continue pursuing all necessary measures to ensure peace, stability, and security across the country.

Authorities have vowed that operations against terrorist networks and their facilitators will continue with full force until lasting peace is restored.
