Chief of Defence Forces and Field Marshal Asim Munir has stated that propaganda, fake news, and foreign-sponsored terrorism cannot obstruct Pakistan’s path to progress and development.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison, where he addressed faculty members of the Command and Staff College as well as undergoing trainee officers.
During his interaction, the Field Marshal highlighted the rapidly evolving nature of modern warfare and emphasized the need for officers to remain fully aware of emerging technologies and future battlefield challenges. He underscored that professional excellence, continuous learning, and adaptability are essential components of modern military leadership.
Reaffirming the unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s armed forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir stated that, with the full support of the people, the military remains determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism in all its forms. He stressed that no campaign of propaganda, misinformation, or externally sponsored militancy can derail Pakistan’s national development or weaken its resolve.
He further stated that Pakistan has earned a significant position in the global community and must continue its journey toward greater stability, strength, and prosperity. According to him, forces attempting to destabilize the country or hinder its progress will ultimately fail in the face of national unity and institutional resolve.
Emphasizing the importance of peace and stability in Balochistan, Field Marshal Asim Munir noted that lasting development in the province is vital for the overall prosperity of Pakistan. He reiterated that elements attempting to disrupt peace and progress in the region will not succeed, as the country remains firmly committed to its path of development.
He concluded by affirming that Pakistan’s journey toward progress and prosperity will continue steadily and will ultimately reach its destination despite all challenges and hostile attempts to derail it.
