One Terrorist Eliminated as Security Forces Conduct Precision Operation in KP

Security forces killed one suspected militant and injured another during an intelligence-based operation in Azamabad area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to security sources.

The operation was launched after intelligence reports indicated the movement of militants in the area. Security forces maintained continuous aerial surveillance of the suspects and tracked their movements through drones, sources said.

Upon realising they were being monitored, the two militants reportedly attempted to take cover under a tree. Security forces subsequently carried out a targeted aerial strike, leaving both suspects seriously wounded.

According to sources, one of the injured militants then tried to escape and sought refuge in a nearby cave. However, security forces detected his movement and conducted another precision strike, killing him on the spot.

Security sources further said that the militants’ hideout was later identified and completely destroyed in a follow-up aerial operation.

A clearance operation remains underway in the area to eliminate any remaining threats and ensure that no other militants are present in the vicinity.

No casualties among security personnel were reported during the operation. Further details are expected once the clearance operation is completed.
