Khawarij Attack UBL Bank in Dallan, Hangu; Two Officials Abducted

Armed Khawarij elements, linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), carried out an attack on the United Bank Limited (UBL) branch in Dallan, Hangu, damaging the bank premises and abducting two bank officials.

According to initial reports, the armed Khawarij targeted the UBL Bank facility and caused damage to the building during the assault. Following the attack, the attackers abducted Bank Manager Waseem Afridi and Cashier Alauddin and fled the area.

The incident has raised serious security concerns, as the attack targeted a civilian financial institution and disrupted normal activities in the area. The assault reflects the continued efforts of Khawarij elements to spread fear, threaten public safety, and undermine peace and stability.

Following the incident, security and law enforcement authorities have initiated necessary measures to assess the situation, collect information, and trace the movement of those involved. Efforts are underway for the safe recovery of the abducted officials and to bring the perpetrators to justice.
