Security forces have killed three Khwarij, including a highly wanted terrorist identified as Roman alias Saifullah, during an intelligence-based operation in the Moski area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan, security sources said.
The operation was launched after intelligence reports indicated the presence of terrorists in the area. Security forces targeted the reported hideout, killing Roman alias Saifullah and two other Khwarij.
According to security sources, one of the dead terrorists was an Afghan national, while another belonged to Bajaur district. The identities of the remaining individuals were not immediately disclosed.
Security forces reiterated their resolve to continue operations against anti-state elements and protect the country’s peace and security, as well as the lives and property of the public.
