Security forces successfully foiled an infiltration attempt by Fitna-al-Khawarij militants along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border, officials confirmed today. According to official reports, a group of six Fitna-al-Khawarij, militants attempted to breach the border fence in the Spinwam sector. Alert soldiers deployed at the post immediately detected the infiltration attempt and responded with precision fire, engaging the militants effectively.
As a result of the swift and coordinated response, two militants were killed and others sustained injuries. Under sustained pressure from security forces, the remaining attackers were forced to retreat and flee the area, abandoning their attempted incursion.
