Security forces successfully foiled an infiltration attempt by Fitna-al-Khawarij militants along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border, officials confirmed today. The incident underscores the continued vigilance and preparedness of Pakistan’s border security personnel in safeguarding national sovereignty.

According to official reports, a group of six Fitna-al-Khawarij, militants attempted to breach the border fence in the Spinwam sector. Alert soldiers deployed at the post immediately detected the infiltration attempt and responded with precision fire, engaging the militants effectively.

As a result of the swift and coordinated response, two militants were killed and others sustained injuries. Under sustained pressure from security forces, the remaining attackers were forced to retreat and flee the area, abandoning their attempted incursion.

Security authorities have confirmed that follow-up operations are ongoing to track down and neutralize the fleeing elements, ensuring that the threat is fully contained. Officials emphasized that this incident reflects the professionalism, alertness, and unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to protect the country’s borders and citizens against terrorist and extremist threats.
