Shalkot Police Station, Quetta’s Hazarganji, Terrorist Attack

Terrorists targeted the Shalkot Police Station in Hazarganji, Quetta, with three hand grenades, injuring a police officer and a passerby.

According to the available information, the attackers hurled three grenades at the police station in the Hazarganji area of Balochistan’s capital. The blasts injured a police officer and a passerby who happened to be in the vicinity.

The injured were immediately shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Their current condition was not immediately available.

The attackers fled the scene after carrying out the assault.

Following the incident, security was tightened across the area, while police and security forces launched a search operation to track down and apprehend those responsible for the attack.

The attack on the police station comes amid continued security challenges in Balochistan, where terrorist groups have targeted law-enforcement personnel and public places in an effort to create fear and disrupt peace.

Security forces and law-enforcement agencies are conducting search and combing operations in the area to locate the attackers and bring them to justice.
