Two workers from Sindh were killed in a shooting near a Rural Health Centre (RHC) in the Kalatak area of Turbat, Kech district, Balochistan, in an attack carried out by armed men affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH).
According to sources, the armed men opened fire on the two workers near the RHC in Kalatak, killing both at the scene.
The victims, who belonged to Sindh, were targeted while present in the area. Their bodies were being shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Turbat for medico-legal formalities and further procedures.
Sources attributed the attack to armed individuals linked to FAH. Further details regarding the identities of the victims and the circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available.
The incident highlights the continued threat faced by workers from outside Balochistan in areas targeted by terrorist groups.
