Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has offered India the option of a neutral and impartial investigation into the recent Pahalgam attack. Speaking in an interview with an international news channel, Bilawal condemned the incident in strong terms on behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan. He stressed that baselessly blaming Pakistan for every attack that occurs on Indian soil, without presenting credible evidence, is unjust and counterproductive.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasized that Pakistan desires peace in the region but will not accept accusations without proof. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to cooperate in any fair inquiry that seeks to uncover the truth behind the attack.
Commenting on India’s move to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, Bilawal Bhutto termed it an irresponsible and dangerous action. He warned that any attempt by India to stop or divert Pakistan’s share of water under the treaty would be considered an act of war, and Pakistan reserves the right to respond accordingly.
Bilawal Bhutto urged India to engage in dialogue and diplomacy rather than escalating tensions through unilateral and provocative measures.
