Bannu Police have issued a strong and uncompromising warning to terrorists, declaring that the desecration and disrespect of the bodies of security personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty would be treated as an unforgivable act.
In a strongly worded message, Bannu Police said disrespecting the martyrs was the terrorists’ “first and last mistake,” warning that they would face the consequences of their actions.

The police vowed to pursue terrorists hiding in difficult terrain and declared that no hideout, cave or suspected sanctuary would remain beyond the reach of security forces. “Every cave will be searched and you will be brought out,” the message warned, adding that the response would be severe enough to serve as a lesson to others.

The warning comes amid continued security operations against terrorist networks in Bannu and other parts of southern KP, where law enforcement and security forces have intensified efforts to dismantle terrorist hideouts and prevent attacks on civilians and security personnel.

Bannu, along with neighboring districts, has remained a key focus of counterterrorism operations due to persistent security threats and attempts by terrorist groups to target police and security installations. Police officials have repeatedly maintained that the sacrifices of personnel killed in the line of duty would not be forgotten and that those responsible for attacks would be pursued through intelligence-based operations.

The latest message also reflects the resolve of Bannu Police to maintain pressure on terrorist elements operating in the region and to deny them safe havens in remote and difficult-to-access areas.

The police made it clear that the state’s response to attacks on its personnel would continue through sustained counterterrorism operations, intelligence gathering and targeted action against terrorist networks.
